Welcome To The Twisty Pines
Playground Project Website!
We are on our way to building one of the best playgrounds in Northern Palm Beach County! Please join us in building an extraordinary new playground at The Margaret Berman Memorial Park. Designed by our children, with help from the internationally acclaimed Leathers & Associates, this playground will provide children with challenges, exercise, and good
old-fashioned fun!

SIRWCD
is now the official owner of the Park Land
It is hard to believe that we have finally reached a major milestone with
this park project. Over the last few months a lot has happened at the
park site. The lot has been prepared for easy maintenance by SIRWCD, and
it was officially turned over to SIRWCD on September 17. Thank you to
the Berman family for the donation! The next steps are to complete electrical
and irrigation systems, construct the parking lot, create a landscape
buffer, and erect a fence. By this point we will have a lovely open field
to use till other components of the park can be added like a playground,
pavilions, basketball and racquetball courts, walking path, etc. Of course,
these additional components can only be added once we have raised enough
funds. We want to thank everyone who has been out there donating their
money, time and energy to this park! We are planning more great fundraisers
over the next few months so check the twistypines website for more information.
Future
and current fundraising activities for the
Twisty Pines Playground Foundation
Over the next few months
you will have many opportunities to meet and mingle with neighbors to
support this community-built park and playground. Here are a few fundraisers
we have planned over the next few months.
Adopt-a-tree for the
park: Tree donations start at $100 and will
fill our park with county mandated landscaping. You
will receive a tree marker or plaque to honor your donation. Contact Sheri
at 561-601-1647 for information or to give your donation.
Shopping Bags: We are selling large reusable
shopping bags with the Twisty Pines Playground logo on the front. These
bags are great for taking to the grocery store as well as the beach. You
can purchase these bags form Sheri Murray for $10 at 561-601-1647 to show
your support for the playground.
Online shoppers: Link to www.ShopToEarn.net/twistypines
before you make purchases at your favorite stores. A portion of each sale
will go to the playground!
Business Owners: Remember to check the playground
web site to find out how to sponsor a playground component so your name
can be seen at the playground for many years to come.
Personalized Fence Pickets: Routed with your
name or message, these pickets will surround the playground. Individual
or family pickets $30 each. Business or corporate pickets $50 each. Check
the web site for order form.
Personalized Bricks: Laser engraved with
your name, message, stock clip art, or company logo. These bricks will
pave the entryway to the playground. Check the web site for prices and
available sizes and order form.
